Care Instructions
Washing Your Hemp Bedding
Use a cool wash cycle and a natural detergent or a brand that doesn't use whiteners, bleach or brighteners. We do not recommend dry cleaning your hemp sheets and pillow cases.
  • Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with like colors.
  • Tumble dry on low heat.
  • Avoid bleach or other stain removers with enzymes.
  • We do not recommend the use of spray-on stain and spot removers.
  • Be careful not to wash hemp fabrics with zippered or velcro garments, or with textured towels as they can cause abrasion and pilling.
Drying Your Hemp Bedding
Use a warm tumble-dry setting. Take hemp bedding out of the dryer right away when finished and stretch out over your bed. Hemp fabric doesn't require ironing, but you'll find it does have a "memory" of previous use. If you do prefer to iron your hemp sheets, a warm setting or steamer can be used.
  • Be careful not to over-dry, as this may cause (over time) broken fibers and threads.
  • If line-drying, do so in a shaded area; too much direct sunlight can weaken the fabric.

Soft, Strong, and Sustainable

The cool softness of cotton, with more durability than linen. That’s hemp, and it’s causing a gentle revolution in the world of textiles. That’s because there’s no compromising when you purchase Yugen Hut hemp-based bedding. Make a bold statement with sheets and pillowcases free of allergens, sustainably sourced, and made fairly to last.

From Farm to Fabric, A Smarter Choice

Hemp cultivation is not only friendly to the environment, but also friendlier to the farmers who grow it. Compared with cotton, hemp plants that eventually become our high-quality bedding require less acreage, less water (and therefore less irrigation), less time to grow — and no pesticides. And farmers can sell their hemp by-products for use as construction materials, paper, low-cost fuel, and many other sustainable uses.
